Interesting Politics in Pennsylvania
A cursory look at Pennsylvania’s recent political history might lead someone to think of it as a reliably Democratic state based on its electoral history in past presidential elections (it’s voted for the Democratic candidate for president since 1992) and recent gubernatorial (Democrat Ed Rendell was elected in 2002 and re-elected in 2006) and Senate races (Bob Casey, Jr., in 2008).
