Jonathan Powell on the 2010 UK General Election

On Tuesday, 11th May, we were fortunate to have Jonathan Powell, former chief of staff to Prime Minister Tony Blair, in our London offices to speak to an invited group of ambassadors and diplomatic officials.  As the negotiations continued over who would govern Britain, Mr Powell assessed the performance of all the parties in the 2010 General Election and what it would mean for the future.  Later that day, it would all be settled as a Liberal Conservative coalition was agreed.
