Today, it’s Robertson rain falling from the clouds on Mayor Giuliani’s campaign. The Liberal and Conservative bloggers had much to say about this unanticipated endorsement…one of the few surprises in the Presidential contest in weeks. No surprise that two people for whom the bloggers have strong reactions would dominate the chatter. Indeed, for Pat Robertson this may be is digital moment of Campaign 2008….he drew more comment than any other candidate on either side of the aisle! On the issue front, Conservatives continue to focus on the threats flowing from relations in Iran and Iraq…interestingly, Iran now gets slightly more play. And, also of interest is the talk about Islamic issues was the focus of attention. Perhaps related to tensions among the oil rich nations, Liberals came at the issue from the direction of oil and the price thereof. This is surely going to see more attention as pricesjumped considerably over the past few days. While not mentioned yet on Conservative blogs, the oil discussion seems destined to grow. Look for good deal more focus on our policies in the Middle East and the price of oil from the Right and from the Left…

…..at least that’s how I see it.
